In addition to the wonderful events of the weekend, Neale happened upon a copy of my original book, Addressing the Goo--the metaphysics of weight loss, that I had given to someone else and he was very impressed! He hated the title <grin> but hey, he wasn't around to advise me when I came up with it. He loved the concept, the writing style, and the message contained in the book. He also said, after I told him that I was working on a second edition, that he would write a foreword for it.
The picture above was taken right after he told me all this. If my
face looks pained, it's because I was trying not to fall out of my
chair. The fun part is that I wrote my book before I'd ever heard of Neale and his books. (Yes, I know, I must have been living under a rock.) I was stunned by how similar our writings are! Perhaps that's why he liked it so much! This second picture of me and Neale (right) was taken a year later at a seminar he was conducting called "Teaching the Teachers." |
