What does Neale Donald Walsch have to do with it?

I attended, in August 2004, a Humanity's Team Leadership Conference, in Santa Barbara (I was the Florida State Coordinator), where I was blessed to spend the weekend surrounded by people who truly walk the talk of unconditional love and BEing the change they wish to create in the world. One of those people was Neale Donald Walsch, best-selling author of the Conversations With God series and spiritual father of Humanity's Team.

In addition to the wonderful events of the weekend, Neale happened upon a copy of my original book, Addressing the Goo--the metaphysics of weight loss, that I had given to someone else and he was very impressed!  He hated the title <grin> but hey, he wasn't around to advise me when I came up with it. 

He loved the concept, the writing style, and the message contained in the book. He also said, after I told him that I was working on a second edition, that he would write a foreword for it. 

The picture above was taken right after he told me all this. If my face looks pained, it's because I was trying not to fall out of my chair. And no, that's not a rash on my face. It's face paint (a pink sun). 

The fun part is that I wrote my book before I'd ever heard of Neale and his books. (Yes, I know, I must have been living under a rock.) I was stunned by how similar our writings are! Perhaps that's why he liked it so much!
